Ballymore and Sainsbury’s are working together to deliver a new neighbourhood within the Kensal Canalside Opportunity Area. The new neighbourhood will deliver much-needed new homes for local people, more places to shop, more employment opportunities, and several beautiful public areas and landscaped green spaces. The plans also include the delivery of a brand-new Sainsbury’s store and café.
We feel that our proposals for the site are an excellent way to revitalise what was previously unused industrial land.

What’s next
Thank you to everyone who visited us at our public exhibition Drop-in hub, which was open for four weeks from 12 May - 3 June 2023. We received some amazing comments from the local community about our plans. The hub is now closed, but you can still view the proposals here.
A Development Forum with RBKC was held on 10 July 2023 and attended by residents and the local community. You can view the presentation here.
We submitted our planning application in October 2023. Should our application be approved, we are aiming to start in Late 2024 and complete all works on site by 2034. Click here to support.
